What is the BPM-2 engine?

Copenhagen Suborbitals have posted a great video blog detailing their BPM-2 rocket engine. The BPM-2 is a throat less rocket engine that was used to shakedown the test stand and a test bed for the fuel additive experiments the group carried out.
