The two tests acceptance test was completely successful. The two tests showed that the Galcit (Bitumen/oil/ potasiumperchlorate ) propellant can archive very high reproducibility.

Manufacturing is like traditional “candy” propellants but ISP is 185 sec compared to 90 – 120 sec. Density is very high at 1.85.

The two tests produced the same impulse within 1.2 pct. 34 kg of propellants was consumed in 2.2 sec, operating at a chamber pressure of 120 bars.

The motor case is a carbon fiber reinforced steel tube. Later versions will be all carbon fiber.
