A nice video explaining where the team are at with the Nexo II rocket.
Video Caption: We are trying out a new format – A short vlog about the progression of the current projects at Copenhagen Suborbitals. We will try making them as often as possible 🙂
This vlog is a status on the Nexø 2 rocket planned for launch this summer. The Nexø 2 is a progression on the Nexø 1 now with a DPR system. The DPR system (Dynamic Pressure Regulation) is an extra tank with high pressure helium. That means we can keep the optimal pressure in the LOX and fuel tanks for longer, giving substantially greater altitude. It is this system that will fly on the Spica rocket.
Copenhagen Suborbitals is the world’s only manned, amateur space program, 100% crowdfunded and nonprofit. In the future, one of us will fly to space on a homebuilt rocket.
